Applications are invited from UNMARRIED MALE
INDIAN CITIZENS from the designated districts of State of West Bengal
and Sikkim to become airmen. The Recruitment Test for Group ‘X’ (Technical) trades will be held at Air Force Station Barrackpore, Near Palta Gate (West Bengal) from 10 March 2013 to 12 March 2013.
Selection Programme – The Recruitment Test will be conducted from 7AM onwards as per the details given below. Candidates reporting upto
10AM at the Rally venue will only be permitted to appear in the Recruitment Rally.
Date : 10 March 2013
Stream/Activities : Written Test and Physical Fitness Test (P F T) for Group ‘X’ (Technical) Trades.
Date : 11 March 2013
Stream/Activities : Interview of candidates passed Written Test and PFT on 10 March 2013. Trade Allocation Test (TAT) and Medical Examination for candidates qualified in Interview.
Date : 12 March 2013
Stream/Activities : Reserve Day
Qualification – (a) Candidate should have passed Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. OR (b) Candidate should have passed a three year Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics or Automobile or Computer Science or Instrumentation Technology or Information Technology) with at least 50% marks in overall aggregate from a Government recognised Polytechnic Institute.
District Eligible : 24 Parganas (South), Birbum, Bankura, Cooch Behar, Darjeeling, North Dinajpur, South Dinajpur, Howrah, Kolkata, Jalpaiguri, East Midnapore, West Midnapore, Malda And Purulia Districts Of West Bengal And State Of Sikkim
